Fund Recs & CSC discuss their successful partnership
We were delighted to have the opportunity to participate in the Irish Funds FinTech Speaker Series on Friday, September 8th in Arclabs in Waterford. The event was hosted in collaboration with the Ireland South East Financial Services Cluster, bringing together industry leaders from the region.
Simon Gillis, our Head of Product, and Diarmuid Joyce, a Senior Manager at CSC, gave a joint presentation on the successful collaboration between the two companies. CSC have harnessed the power of the Fund Recs software to automate critical processes within their Depositary teams across Europe. The focus of the presentation was on software built to automate the Cash Flow Monitoring and Asset Register and Verification requirements faced by Depositaries.
Collaboration is the cornerstone of innovation, and when it comes to software development, a strong partnership between software providers and clients can lead to remarkable outcomes.
Here are a few key benefits of such collaboration:
- Shared Vision
Working together, both parties aligned their visions, ensuring that the end product met CSC's exact needs while leveraging Fund Recs expertise. - Efficient Problem Solving
Collaboration fostered open communication. When challenges arose (as they often do in software development), a strong partnership allowed for quicker problem-solving, reducing wasted effort. - Quality Assurance
CSC were deeply invested in the success of the product. Their input ensured that the software underwent rigorous testing and quality assurance, leading to a superior product. - Adaptability
In today's fast-paced tech world, requirements can change rapidly. A collaborative partnership enabled flexibility, allowing adjustments to be made efficiently as the project progressed. - Knowledge Transfer
CSC gained valuable insights into the development process, empowering them to make informed decisions. Meanwhile, Fund Recs benefited from a deeper understanding of the Depositaries processes and challenges.
In essence, the partnership wasn't just about building software; it's about crafting a solution that drives business growth. When both sides work hand in hand, innovation thrives, and the results speak for themselves.
